Da Vinci's Sketchbook by Linuron Da Vinci's Sketchbook by Linuron
KPK Barninsky with Thin Orbit Traps colouring.
And textures galore :D

Quite happy with this one's simplicity, the colours in this turned out very good, in my opinion. Gives it a sort of 'weathered' effect, don't you agree?

This is one of the fractals I've done for my class Art Assignment, concept being 'Logic and Creativity'.

Re-posted description from [link] so don't read on if you've already read it :D

Thanks for viewing!

Ok so the gist of the concept 'Logic and Creativity'...

As we were probably taught in school, our brain is divided into two hemispheres; the left side, and the right. Left being responsible for all things logical, right being responsible for all things creative. How we use our brain determines who we are. Scientists, Linguists, and Mathematicians tend to be brain lefty's, while Philosophers, Idealists, and Artists are brain righty's.

Each hemisphere of our brain, throughout history, either directly or indirectly has been the cause for many great things. Cures for diseases, historical architecture, astrological discoveries, revolutionary artistic movements, and so much more.

To think, if each of us can achieve something so magnificent while just applying one side of our brain, imagine what could be achieved if both were applied, and worked in perfect harmony?

Wondrous and extraordinary things could be achieved.

Fractal art is a stepping stone towards this. The tip of the iceberg for unity between the hemispheres.
Something so beautiful, so colourful, so aesthetic, so amazing , started out as a pure and simple mathematical equation. Just a bunch of letters and numbers.

How amazing would it be if everyone had the ability to fully unite each hemisphere? Both logic, and creativity?

Yeah!
It's so refreshing to see a group of people 'ooh and aah' over fractals and how beautiful even the most simplest ones are :D

((I'm also hoping to convert a few of them to start trying their hand at making some of their own fractals))

Cool! I see it as one of the biggest revolutions in digital art and with so many practical applications!

It's pretty thrilling to be on here and be in touch with some of the folks who are actually writing the formulas and stuff!

Keep up the excellent education of those around you! :D

And thank you!

Yes you do need it! ARG! I'm math-impaired so I'm just lucky to understand the most limited of basics! :D
