Here's my first serious feature. :noes:
I fave loads and loads of fractals (because I like them ~youdontsayplz (https://www.deviantart.com/youdontsayplz)), but there are some that catch my attention more than others.
I think my journal could be an useful tool to promote those fractals that deserve more attention (in my opinion).
Regularly, I'll go to my "Fractaling" and "Ma che bei fiorellini" collections and pick few recenlty faved fractals to show. :D
If you want to suggest a fractal to be shown, please send me a note! :D
And by the way, "Ma che bei fiorellini" means "What beautiful little flowers" more or less. :noes:

SOME OF THE BEST FRACTAL RESOURCES ON DA
This feature is primarily for Apophysis as well as a few Incendia resources. There will be another feature in the near future specifically for Ultra-Fractal and Incenida.
In a recent poll I asked my viewers if they :+fav: when using resources. I was surprised 20% of artists who answered the poll felt they do not need to :+fav: the awesome resources that have been made available for all to use. So, it really made me take a long hard look at what is available to the apophysis users, and I was totally amazed at what I had found.
Recently, I came across many resources that had well under 100 :+fav:s and over 1,000 downloads. Does that sou

BMFAC winners published in print magazine!
The 25 winners of the Benoit Mandelbrot Fractal Art Contest were contacted in mid February to supply large format files of their winning images and also a short bio explaining their interest in fractal art, software used and general information about their work if they chose to do so. We were also informed that the first exhibit would be held in Logroño, in Northern Spain. Javier Barrallo, a Professor of Mathematics at The University of the Basque Country, Spain and also one of the panelists for the BMFAC was our contact for this. The current exhibit will be in the Casa de la Ciencia (House of

The Fractal Beginnings - Third time the charm !! (aka "sukySuk" fractals)
After the first News article, the response of the community was overwhelming. From shock to amazement
to pure laughter - upon finishing the reading and viewing the images.
I do think it takes awhile for some points to sink-in, like being self-critical about your own work, developing sensibility to receive constructive critiques from your friends and other artists (those are still sensitive topics in the community).
I know exactly how it feels to be a 'noob' - enjoyment of creating something, even when it's random and accidental is like a 'drug' - you feel proud, t
